Alex is your best friend. You guys used to hang out everyday until he went to go around on tour with Austin. You were also friends with his girlfriend, Sarah Wright. You and Sarah now hang out because Alex isn't there. One day, you were with Sarah and Alex called. You answered. "Hello?" "{y/n}?" "ALEX!!!" "Yeah how have you been?" "Good but i miss you best friend" "i miss you too" "hows the tour going?" "Great all of these places are so cool" "thats nice to know" "um hey {y/n}?" "Yeah?" "Is Sarah there?" "Yeah why?" "Can i talk to her?" "Oh..uh sure" "thanks" you gave the phone to Sarah and they talked and talked and talked. You just sat there on Sarah's phone since she had yours. After about an hour, they hung up. "Well that took a while" you say to Sarah. "Yeah i just really miss him" "well i do too but i didn't talk to him for an hour!" "Well sorry. Its not my fault i miss MY boyfriend." "Well hes MY best friend.i should at least be noticed!" After that you just walked inside. You went straight to your room. You put your headphones on and just listened to your music for a while. You were kind of mad at Alex because it seemed like he wanted to talk to Sarah more, they are dating and he should but your still his best friend and should be noticed. You wanted to know when they're coming back so you called Austin instead of Alex. Austin answered. "Hello?" "Hey Austin" "oh hey {y/n}" "hows the tour?" "Good, good.." "Thats good" "yeah..um {y/n}?" "Yeah?" "Is there a reason why you called me?" "Oh yeah haha um i was wondering when you were coming back.." "Oh we'll be back in like a week" "oh ok" "yeah and also..." "Yeah?" "Why did you call me instead of Alex?" "Umm" "tell meee" "well Alex called yesterday, we said like 3 things to each other and then he asked to talk to Sarah and they talked for like an hour." "oh so your mad?" "Kinda..i mean i know shes his girlfriend but still. Im his best friend, well other than you, and i want to at least be noticed and not just you know be left out." "I know what you mean" "yeah so thats why" "ok..i have to go so if you need anything just give me a call okay?" "Alright thanks Austin" "your welcome {y/n}" He hung up and you stayed up in your room for the rest of the day. *a week later* you were ok with Sarah but your still a little mad at Alex. You went to the airport with Sarah to pick up Austin and Alex. You were just standing there on your phone while Sarah was talking about how excited she is to see Alex. Sarah tapped your shoulder and you look up, you see Austin and Alex. Austin looked at you and smiled you smile back. Alex looks at Sarah. You look down because he didn't even look at you. They both come over and Alex goes over to Sarah. Austin came over to you. He looks at you and sees your sad. He says "im sorry about him. He only wants to see Sarah but im here and i want to see you." You smile and give him a hug. You look over at Alex and hes looking at you. You turn away. You all piled into the car and you sat as far away from Alex as you could. Sarah was driving so Alex was up front too. You sat in the back with Austin. You stayed on your phone and didn't look at anyone. Alex spoke up and said "i've missed you {y/n}" you kept your head down and didn't answer. He kept trying to talk to you but you didn't answer. You guys finally got home and you rushed inside. You went straight to your room and closed the door. Alex came up and knocked on your door. "GO AWAY!!" You yelled. He just came in anyways. You tried to get out but he was holding your arm. You kept your head down. Alex said "{y/n} look at me." You shook your head. "Why not." You didn't say anything you just kept looking at the floor. Alex made you look at him in the eyes. "Why have you been ignoring me since we left the airport?" "I wasn't the one ignoring you." "What?" "ALEX. YOU WERE IGNORING ME. YOU WERE ONLY TALKING TO YOUR STUPID GIRLFRIEND. EVEN ON THE PHONE YOU ONLY WANTED TO TALK TO HER. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HURTS?!?!?! IT HURTS A LOT OKAY. YOUR BEST FRIEND THAT DOESN'T EVEN WANT TO TALK TO YOU. DOESNT EVEN NOTICE YOU. ONLY HIS STUPID GIRLFRIEND." "I..i didn't know you felt that way.." "Well now you know so just leave me the fuck alone." You walked downstairs and sat near Austin. Austin said "uh...should i leave you alone too?" "You heard that?" "Yeah kinda.. Im pretty sure Canada could hear you." "Oh sorry" "its alright. I just didn't know you could yell like that" "well now you know" Alex came down the stairs. You ignored him. He came over to you. You said "didnt i tell you to leave me alone?" "Yes but i want my best friend back. I promise to not ignore you and talk to you more instead of just Sarah. Im really really really sorry {y/n}" " i dont know" "come onnnn!! Please?! I promise to talk to you more!! I just want my best friend back!!" "Fine. But if you do that again. We aren't best friends anymore." "I promise" "alright" Then Austin piped in " HEYY i thought i was your best friend Alex?!?!" "You are...your my guy best friend and {y/n} is my girl best friend." "But im better right?" "Uh im not sure about that" You laughed and gave Alex a hug. Austin had a puppy dog face on. "Aww come here" you said. You gave Austin a hug too. And then Alex joined. And you all were best friends to the end.❤
