Ryewook: hyung can I ask you why you asked me and siwonnie out?

Siwon: wookie ah! don’t be so rude

Yesung: its fine siwon

Yesung:I have something to show you guys.

Yesung showed them the letter he kept for himself, after reading it both younger boys were crying their eyes out. “so you….in what phase?” ryewook asked as he try not to cry anymore “emm almost 2nd ,but I need you guys there for me” siwon nodded his head. “we’re here for you” siwon said as ryewook nod his head.

That night, yesung feel uneasy and he do not know why. As he look beside, reowook is already asleep deeply. He get up and grab his phone, he call siwon but he didn’t pick it up. 

In the morning, he wake up so early and went to his schedule. That show needs him to sing with sungmin. They sang beautifully. On the way back to their car, yesung feel like his body floating in the air and then slowly his sight become blank . Sungmin was so shocked but managed to grab yesung’s body and their manager quickly drove to the hospital instead of going home.

“doc, I already know about his illness. I accidently know and he din’t know that I know and I hope just let it be that way”, the doctor nodding his head.”it’s good then. You have to find way to let him take the treatment as soon as possible”.

Sungmin staring at his hyung body who lying on the bed unconscious. He has called the others and he decide he want to tell others about yesung. When other come, they were so worried that sungmin said it’s very important and yesung’s life in danger. “hyung!waeyo. how yesung hyung?”eunhyuk asking while running to sungmin followed by other on his back.”why he pass out again? he eat well.and he sleep well right?” leteuk keep asking to sungmin. “come, let’s go somewhere else”. Sungmin grab leeteuk hand and pull the rest with him go somewhere else.

At the park, “siwon, ryeowook ah, did you hide something from us?”. Reowook and siwon still in their innocent look while the rest still blurr. “tell us before it’s too late and you might regret”. Sungmin staring at his dongsaeng really sharp. “what’s this all about?what they hiding from us sungmin ah? “. Leeteuk cannot stay calm anymore and so the others. Reowook and siwon are looking at each other. “we didn’t hide anything. How is yesung hyung?he’s fine right?” siwon asking back. “you tell us that” sungmin still staring at them and both of them still act like they know nothing. “tell us!” sungmin raise his voice as his eyes start to get wet which make everyone surprise since sungmin is a very patient person. “aish,sungmin ah, if you know then you tell us, if it serious and they hid it from us than they know what will happen then”.kangin sharply staring at his two dongsaeng.”okay then, last night, I found something in yesung hyung room. I was searching for my book and jump to a letter”, everyone focus themselves to sungmin. “hyung?can we talk to you for a second?” siwon grab sungmin’s hand. “why? You wanna stop me from telling others!”.”hyung, please” siwon grab and want to drag sungmin to somewhere else but sungmin act strong, “let me go, yesung’s hyung life is in danger now and you wanna me to keep it secret! Do you want him to die without doing anything?tell me!”. 

Sungmin raise his voice again this time together with his tears keep falling down. “die?he’s gonna die?tell us what is it!”heechul also raising his voice this time. “the letter is from hospital and I think he ask the doctor to keep it as secret from us. He have been diagnosed with brain tumor and he…” before he could continue, “Minnie ah, don’t joking around with things like this. You know cancer right?”. Leeteuk still calm. “or did you plan prank on us?where is the camera?”kangin smiling an try looking for hidden camera. Sungmin shaking his head and then siwon decide to tell them the truth,”hyung, it is the truth. Yesung hyung have cancer and it is still on 1st level. He told reowook and me two days before”. Everyone keep silent and not responding. “hyung!we are not playing around”. Siwon for the second time. “while going back just now, he seem different and didn’t talk or eat a lot. I realize he didn’t feel so well but he didn’t tell me. Then he suddenly passed out. So we drove him here.The doctor said he need treatment very soon before it become worse”. 

Leeteuk than put his face down and also the others. Kangin rubs his forehead thinking something. Then all of them rushed to the doctor’s room. The doctors told them everything. ‘his tumor is at a very sensitive part. We cannot take it out now since it’s too dangerous. We just can do the treatment to cure him but as you know cancer have no cure , had a malignant brain tumor in the left temporal lobe’. Thinking back what the doctors said, leeteuk cannot take his eyes off from yesung who still lying on the bed. All of them just keep silent and staring at yesung. They are thinking what they should do. A few minute later, yesung awake and he was so surprise as he woke up, he is in the hospital and everyone is staring at him with serious face. 

Leeteuk grab yesung’s hand. “ohh, all of you are here. I’m fine. Why all of you are here. Don’t worry, I’m fine maybe I was just tired. Just attend your schedule. Go back. Hyung, why is your face like that, it’s not I’m going to die”. Yesung smiling to the rest. heechul suddenly stand up which make everyone stunned, “yah!how come you’re saying you’re fine. Yes you gonna die we know that. Because of brain cancer right?. Tell us, I want to hear it from you”. Yesung was stunned and automatically staring at siwon and reowook, “hyung, don’t mad at them but at me” yesung seem confused “how…”. “I found the letter you hid from us. You are not good at hiding things. I told them everything because I love you and so do they”. Sungmin made a confession. “yesung ah, why don’t you tell us. We can figure something out”. Leeteuk softly wipe yesung’s hand. “why should you do that hyung, I have no one on this earth. I have no family now..and it’s cancer hyung, cancer which is hard to cured.” yesung’s eyes start getting wet “then who we are to you?” heechul with soft tone this time approaching yesung.”ahh hyung..all of you are like my real hyung,dongsaeng, all of you are my family since I lost them”.”then? if you said so, treat us like a family. why don’t you told us?why you said you have no one?” khuhyun who usually didn’t talk much spoke up with a very tough tone. “I just..i just don’t want all of you to worry about me.that’ s all”.”but you endanger your life, why you told siwon and reowook then?”, eunhyuk feeling unfair. “it’s..its..ahh I don’t know”.

Yesung’s doctor suggested them to bring yesung to US to his friend to have a thorough check up, maybe they have something better solution. Leeetuk and kangin together with yesung went to US for weeks. 

“ well you are advice to do the treatment as soon as possible. And we have talk to your doctor just now that you can have it in korea. We have done early phase treatment and test for you and now we have a bettter picture of your condition and what kind of treatment you really need. So it’s better for you to be back home”.

Leeteuk smile while peeling an apple for yesung but when he look at yesung, his face change. Yesung was not happy with the news. “what’s wrong? You don’t wanna go back to korea? it will be easy then for us to take care of you".“that is what I hate about.”yesung slowly increase his voice. Kangin who just got back from toilet was shocked hearing it,” “yah why you talking like that to teeukie hyung?”

“ahh i'm sorry, I just hate it when I have became a burden for you guys. I don’t want to. Even now, the dongsaeng always called me and crying missing and worrying about me. This is why I don’t want to tell you guys the truth.” Leeteuk’s eyes started to get wet so do kangin and thus he lowered down his voice to yesung. “yesung ah, we have been like real sibling and of course we worry about you because we afraid that we might lose you. So please understand us by putting yourself at our place. We understand this is really hard for you but you must fight this cancer for yourself. Remember your dream, our dream.” Kangin and leeteuk approaching yesung and they hugged. Yesung nodding his head as he agreed to go back to korea.Kangin have called other members in Korea to tell them about this and their respond have good and bad. 

In korea.

“hyung, is it okay for yesung hyung to come back to korea. I mean to do his treatment here".Eunhyuk asking heechul. “why?in korea we do have doctors right. Its just the same. Don’t worry okay.” “yah, it gonna be easy for him and us too to visit him often.”siwon adding after heechul. “but I’m afraid I cannot hold myself to see him suffer”. Reowook in teary eyes. “ don’t worry that’s why he need us beside him to help him pull through. If you cannot hold just don’t show it to him” siwon hugging ryewook.

In LA:

“hyung, I have got the tickets. We fly tonight.” Kangin buying ticket online. “is it okay for night fly? I mean for yesung.” Leeteuk worriedly asking kangin while looking at deeply asleep yesung. “its okay, just put on more clothes on him then. Plus we gonna be in korea in the late morning and I have told heechul hyung and siwon. They will come fetch us tomorrow”,Kangin realize leeteuk started to worry even on a very small things about Yesung."hyung, it's fine, i've asked his doctor for a night fly and its gonna be no problem at all". “ok then, let start packing up now since its just few hours more.”

“hyung..why are you packing things?”yesung with halfly awake asking leeteuk.“ it’s good you're up. We gonna fly back to korea in 2 hours”. “ really hyung??” yesung smiling happy.“you are smiling wide…happy to be home?”leeteuk smile as yesung smile. “where's kangin?”.“he have something to settle on your treatment in korea, he’ll get everything prepared”

“hyung…hmm do I trouble you?” yesung asking leeteuk with down face. Leeteuk slowly approaching yesung and sit beside him, he hold yesung’s hand and said “of course not, you are like my real dongsaeng, I cannot imagine if I lose you so you must be strong okay?” they hugged each other thightly.”I still can manage myself for now but later on…”. “just imagine if I am at your place right now and you are at my place. Then you won’t ask me anymore question like this because you know yourself right except if you don’t love me like I love you”, leeteuk smiling and pinched yesung’s nose and yesung smiling and said “of course I love you hyung, I’ll give my life for you”. “see!!that’s exactly what I mean you got it now. So don’t ask that kind of question anymore.”.kangin came back, “huh I’ve settle everything and here is all the document and the rest doctor will fax it to korea. Yesung ah, we must stay strong until the end ok?”. “promise you’ll never leave me?” yesung asking his hyung and his best friend. Kangin and leeteuk both nodding their face. “ aja..here get change now. I want to pack other things.” Leeteeuk passing yesung’s clothes and packing his own things.

Yesung still strong enough to walk and do things on his own for now. They went to the airport and all of them are sleeping on the flight with yesung in the middle and now safely arrive at korea. As they walk out, siwon and heechul are waiting for them. 

In korea

“yah..is that yesung?look so different.”heechul asking siwon. “hyung” siwon staring at heechul thus make heechul realize he shouldn’t say things like that, “maybe because I didn’t see him for two weeks”.And they stop talking about that when three of them approaching.”hyung, you’re back. I miss you so so much” siwon hugging yesung tightly.

“hyung, can we go somewhere to eat? I want to eat something.” Yesung whispering to leeteuk. “like what?my treat this time” heechul heard it and asking yesung. Yesung didn’t answer. Siwon just drove the car to nearest restaurant. Finish eating, yesung want to go to amusement park and the rest just following him. Heechul and siwon accompany yesung while kangin and leeteuk kind of tired and just sit at the café. “can we play that one hyung?”yesung pointing at the game asking heechul. Heechul smile and grab yesung together with siwon playing a lot of stuff. After few hours playing they gone home. Kangin and leeteuk have been sleeping just now and Yesung is the one who deeply fall asleep on heechul. “yah, he’s so thin now. What kg he is now?” heechul whispering to leeteuk behind but leeteuk just smiling back. When they reached home, siwon piggy back yesung until the house. The dongsaeng who waiting for them welcome them happily. “yea..yeaa..welcome back!!” all of them said it together. “shhh!! He is sleeping. He is so tired today” leeteuk asking them to quiet. While siwon bring yesung into the room, “hyung, how’s everything?”sungmin question. “why don’t you wait for us to go to the amusement park..we can go together tomorrow” eunhyuk questioning leeteuk.” When he gonna start the treatment?”khuhyun seriously asking thus make everyone silent. “hmm..in one week from now. Don’t worry we your hyung will take care of everything. Just do your schedule well.”leeteuk informed the dongsaeng.”why is it like that? We wanna take care of yesung hyung too”,shindong feel unfair. “ok ok..when we are free, anyone can take care of him. Just don’t leave him alone at house. We must make sure he is not alone at anytime and anywhere”. everyone agree with heechul suggestion.”I just wanna be with him when he start the treatment. Hyung, can we extend to other time our suju M activities next week?”. Khuyun asking hankyung seriously. “I’ll try talk to manager hyung.i wann abe here to”.

“yah, is there anything to eat?”kangin asking everyone while walking towards them. “I can cook something for you” reowook quickly gone to the kitchen followed by sungmin and hankyung.

A day after, Shindong as usual when to his radio schedule. While broadcasting, he called leeteuk who at home with siwon and Yesung.”yobuseyo? hyung? Is it you?” shindong call yesung’ cellphone. “yo..yoboseyo?, ah dong dong ah”.shindong laughing as he heard yesung calling him like that. “how are you today hyung ?i’ve call from radio broadcasting. A lots of fan want to hear hyung voice and even they asking you to sing. Can you?” shindong asking yesung.”emm..i’m fine. Of course. What song?” yesung start singing through the phone..”thanks to all fans who keep remembering me. Please pray for my health and I will not give up..suju fighting yesung fighting!!”..”yahh.i’m sure everyone missing that so much. Hyung, we’ll be on stage together soon!”. “sure, I’m looking forward for that” yesung motivated by shindong today.

“hyung, how yesung hyung will look like as he start the treatment? Terrible right?”, eunhyuk asking kangin. “why you thinking about that, just act as usual”. “don’t worry. He know how he will become just don’t cry in front of him on anything. We should be stronger than him starting now”. leeteuk giving his dongsaeng motivation. But suddenly they heard donghae screaming from yesung’s room. “hyung!!!teukie hyung!!!”everyone rushed to donghae and see that yesung is bleeding. Blood keep running out from yesung’s nose thus make his shirt turn to red. Everyone stay calm and leeteuk experienced it in US before know what he should do and everything has been taking care of. Yesung then fall asleep on siwon instead of pillow as he need to higher up his head. 

“what was that?”,heechul asking. “we will face that and even worse next time. Like I said before, prepared ourself. Kangin and I have experience that situation in US and doctor told us what will happen when he start his treatment later”. Leeteuk again explaining to them. Leeteuk become stronger than before. He can hold his tear very well. That night, leeteuk sleeping on the bed with ryeowook and kangin sleep on the floor.

“morning”,yesung greeting everyone in the kitchen. “hyung why you came out?i can bring breakfast to your room”,sungmin quickly rush to yesung to hold him to the table.”I’m fine now. Sorry for last night.”.”what have we promise before yesung ah?stop apologizing to us!” kangin kind irritated with those apologize. Everyone smile and start to eat. They just stay at home as today is Sunday and in few days yesung will start his first treatment.

But before I start the treatment, can we do mini concert for fans?can we hyung?i just feel like singing” yesung asking leeteuk. “the answer not for us but for you. Can you?”.”of course. This is my appreciation to those who supporting us all this while. It will be such a long break for me after this. can you ask our manager prepare it?i afraid when I started the treatment it will a long long time I can be on stage again” they look at each other
