❥Anyways, long story short. Her mother and father never planned to get married, when her mother got pregnant with her older brother they decided that they would try to be there for him. One thing lead to another and Camellia was born only two years later.
❥Camellia's Father has always shown blatant favoritism towards her, even going so far as to saying that her brother was a mistake and she was planned. As expected, this created a riff between her and her brother. They were still close, as they were strikingly similar, but their relationship was rocky, and they never tell each other anything deeper than how their day went.
❥Their father went off to do even more horrible things after that, cheating on their mom, stealing their money, and when he left for good, Camellia finally felt like she had lost the connection she had with her family. She was always with her dad (you could say she was a huge daddy's girl) and now he's.. gone.

❥His family migrated here long ago, maybe two or three generations ago, and were desperate to keep their culture alive in this new and foreign country. In his family, it's custom that they learn everything in Japanese before they do in English, leading to horrible communication skills down the line. But for Kotami it was different, he's always had a natural ability to learn both at roughly the same time. So it isn't like he's the only one that's talkative in his family, it's just that he's the only one that can be talkative in English than in Japanese.
❥he lives in a family of mostly girls, with two sisters, his mom and his grandma. So he's always been a little more feminine than others, and was often teased for it. It got so bad that he had to switch schools.
